On October 8, the Development Forum for International Joint Research Center for Energy Saving Technologies of Fluid Engineering Equipment was successfully held in Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology.

Firstly, Prof. Zhang Jinfeng introduced the preliminary work foundation, construction tasks and objectives of the International Joint Research Center, and gave a detailed report on the work to be carried out by the International Joint Research Center. The experts had heated discussions on research directions, international teams, laboratory openness, collaborative research, etc. The experts suggested that the International Joint Research Center should carry out in-depth cooperation and joint testing platforms with international high-level universities and research institutions. And it will further consolidate the key scientific issues of fluid equipment, strengthen the common technology research and transformation of results, and serve the industrial development of the fluid equipment industry at home and abroad.

Finally, Prof. Yuan Shouqi made a concluding speech. He firstly thanked the foreign professors for their support and assistance to the fluid machinery department of Jiangsu University. In combination with the development strategy of international fluid equipment industry, he suggested to further consolidate the research direction, open up laboratory resources, and gather a group of overseas experts and scholars to carry out research. He suggested that we can take the project as the starting point, actively carry out the declaration of international cooperation projects, strive for project funding, and cultivate major achievements.

The successful holding of this forum established China's first fluid engineering equipment technology exchange and international cooperation platform, which pointed out the direction for the construction of International Joint Research Center for Energy Saving Technologies of Fluid Engineering Equipment.
