On September 29, the appointment ceremony of Jiangsu University’s part-time professor was held in National Research Center of Pumps.

At the ceremony, Prof. Wang Yong introduced Prof. Lei Xiaohui's outstanding achievements in the field of hydraulic engineering and academic research. Then Prof. Yuan Jianping awarded Lei Xiaohui the certificate and presented him with the badge of Jiangsu University.

Prof. Lei Xiaohui said that he is honored to be employed as a part-time professor of Jiangsu University. This is both an honor and a responsibility. He must live up to the expectations of Research Center, further deepen cooperation and exchanges, and make his own contribution to the development of Research Center.

Finally, Prof. Lei Xiaohui gave an academic report on the key technologies of smart water transfer. Prof. Lei took the first phase of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project as an example, and made an in-depth explanation from the construction of the Internet in the water transfer project, the big data platform of the water transfer project and the intelligent brain. Prof. Lei’s essays and exciting academic reports have made everyone understand the academic frontiers of water transfer technology research and won warm applause from the teachers and students.
