"Journal of Drainage and Irrigation Machinery Engineering" (JDIME)once known as “Drainage and Irrigation Machinery” started publication in 1982, it is sponsored by Drainage and Irrigation Machinery Branch of Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery and Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology of Jiangsu University (possess national key discipline) and directed by Drainage and Irrigation Machinery Branch of Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery. Over these years, more than 20 awards were achieved above provincial and ministerial level. It is selected into“the national Chinese core journals” of agricultural engineering (2011，2014，2017).It is indexed by the Chinese Science Citation Database(CSCD). So far, JDIME has been covered and indexed by SCOPUS,AJ,CSA,UPD,CABI,EBSCOhost.

"Journal of Drainage and Irrigation Machinery Engineering" fully and systematically reflect professional development level. New theories, new technologies, new methods, new achievements and the latest research development both domestic and abroad were reported timely and accurately, it promotes academic communication and cooperation and the development of irrigation and drainage. It is geared to the needs of all readers, experts and scholars both domestic and abroad university teachers and graduate students, scientific research institutions researchers, etc. It mainly reports research papers, like special review, theory and technology of pumps, water conservancy and hydropower engineering, water saving irrigation engineering, test and control, agricultural soil and water engineering, environmental engineering, fluid engineering, etc.
