Recently, as a long-term external expert of Jiangsu University, Prof. Gérard Bois, who is from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, was invited to give a report entitled "Experimental investigations on spike and rotating stall on a single stage subsonic axial flow compressor" in Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology.

Prof. Bois summarized the development history of rotating machinery, and explained the type, formation mechanism and control measures of the rotating stall of axial compressor in detail.

In the report, Prof. Bois introduced the research methods of theoretical analysis, experimental research and numerical simulation in combination with actual research. He also communicated and discussed with participants in a warm atmosphere.Everyone said that the theme of this report was outstanding, and the direction was clear and impressive.
