On 5th January 2016, a GROUP people from Grundfos, Dr.Christian Brix Jacobsen(the director of mechanical hydraulic development), Dr.Nicholas Pedersen(the hydraulic chief engineer), Chloe Tauzin Rasmussen planning manager etc, from Grundfos company, visited National Research Centre of Pumps. Prof. Li Hong, Prof. Yang Jingjiang, Prof. Yuan Jianping and Prof. Zhang Jinfeng attended this meeting.

At first, Dr. Christian Brix Jacobsen made a lecture《Design of Centrifugal Pumps》 concerning Pump basic theory, flow loss, CFD, ect. And he answered and explained some questions proposed by audiences. Dr. Christian has plenty of experience in pump design, and has published a book 《Design of Centrifugal Pumps》which is popular in the pump field. Finally, he donated a centrifugal pump to National Research Centre of Pumps on behalf of Grundfos company.
