The 5th World Engineering Conference and Convention 2015 held in Kyoto Japan, On November 29 to December 2, which theme is "Engineering: innovation and society". This Conference was jointly assembled and launched by the world federation of engineering organizations (WFEO) and the United Nations educational, scientific and cultural organization (UNESCO) in 2000, which was known as the "Olympics of the engineering". The former four conferences were held in Germany, China, Brazil and Switzerland respectively.

Engineer Association of Jiangsu province is the only association represented the China, who organized the Jiangsu delegation with 16 members and four exhibition positions totally. Jinfeng ZHANG, the vice director of our research center, attended this conference.

Through the WECC2015, we will continue to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation with international organization for engineering and technology, to learn the advanced experience, and to take efforts to narrow the gap with the developed countries. We should also vigorously strengthen the education for training engineer and industry, and strengthen the cooperation with international departments to provide strong support for national economic and social development.
