From 28th to 29th of November, the annual review meeting of a National key Research and Development Program of China, “High efficient water-saving irrigation technology and integrated application in the typical agricultural region of Northwest China”, was held in Zhenjiang. This program was divided into eight directions, undertaken by Jiangsu University, Northwest A&F University, and Wuhan University etc.

The conference was hosted by Prof. Cai Huanjie, from Northwest A&F University. On the meeting, the managers gave reports on research progress, achievements, problems and next phases. Prof. Yuan Shouqi, the representative of Jiangsu University, presented the advance of the project assumed by Jiangsu University.

After reports, experts discussed with the participants. They highly praised all these efforts, and gave their suggestions.
