Recently, the review meeting and opening ceremony of the project, "the research of key technology and product development of seawater desalination pump and energy recovery machine（2017YFC0404200）", which is one key project ofThe National Key Research and Development Program of China, Efficient Development and Utilization of Water Resources, were held in Tianjin.

This project was led by The Institute of Seawater Desalination and Multipurpose Utilization, SOA(Tianjin). Jiangsu University is in charge of one project and two branch projects. Prof. Zhang Desheng is responsible for project one, the theory design of seawater desalination pump and energy recovery machine, while Dr. Zhao Ruijie and Jiang Xiaoping are responsible for the development and testing technology of the machine (project three) and the integration technology of the system and demonstration application (project four) individually.
