On May 26th, a job-hunting fair, which is the special action of "visiting enterprises, expanding posts and promoting employment", was held by the Fluid Center in the conference room on the seventh floor. The job fair was held online and offline simultaneously. A total of 38 backbone enterprises in the fluid industry were invited to participate in this fair. Students of the Fluid Center, College of Energy and Power Engineering and Jingjiang College attended the fair online and offline. The job fair was presided over by Yuan Jianping.
President Yan Xiaohong, on behalf of Jiangsu University, delivered a welcome speech and expressed gratitude to the employers and alumni who support the development of Jiangsu University. He stressed that employment is the greatest livelihood of the people. Our university has always regarded employment as a quality project and livelihood project, and has actively provided more opportunities and platforms for graduates' employment and helped every graduate to obtain high-quality employment. The president wished that graduates would have the courage to accept the review of employers, carefully examine their own quality and knowledge, select suitable jobs, transform theoretical knowledge into technical products, and actively serve economic and social development.
Zhang Desheng briefly introduced the general situation of the fluid center and the characteristics of graduate training. He pointed out that the Fluid Center has always implemented the overall goal of "San Quan Education", integrated ideological and moral education, cultural knowledge education, scientific research and practice education into all training stage, focusing on cultivating outstanding innovative talents with international vision and engineering practice ability. Finally, he earnestly wished that all employers would attract talents as much as possible.
A total of 38 backbone enterprises participated in the job fair, among which HENGLI Group conducted offline publicity, while 8 enterprises including ITT High Precision Manufactured Products (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. carried on online publicity. The recruitment information of all enterprises was bound together in book form, and the job demands of employers were announced to students online and offline, with a total of more than 500 jobs released.
In recent years, the Fluid Center has always regarded the employment work as the "Top Priority" project. By holding a special online job fair, it has further deepened the cooperation between university and enterprises, and comprehensively promoted the graduates of the Fluid Center to find jobs as soon as possible and be satisfied with employment.
