On Mar. 26, the project scheme review meeting of National Key R & D Program of China “integrated equipment for emergency water supply and purification in mountainous and remote disaster areas” led by researcher Yuan Shouqi was held through the combination of offline and online. Zhong Ping, director of the Administrative Center for China’s Agenda 21, Ministry of Science and Technology; Prof. Sang Xuefeng, senior engineer of China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research; Prof. Fan Haojun from Tianjin University; Prof. Chen Hongqi, China Institute of Geological Environment Monitoring; Prof. Chen Zhihua from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan); Prof. Wang Fujun from China Agricultural University; Prof. Zhao Zhiwei from Chongqing University and Liu Bing, senior engineer of the Military Supplies and Oil Department of Jinan Military Region, were invited to attend the meeting. Prof. Ren Xudong, director of the Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu University, and other backbones of the research project team also attended the meeting. The period of opening ceremony was presided over by researcher Li Wei.

Zhong Ping delivered a speech on behalf of the project management department, affirmed the progress of the project and stressed the importance of project equipment research and development. Ren Xudong conveyed a welcome speech, showing gratitude to the review experts and all participating units for their support and cooperation. He said that the Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu University would actively play the role of coordination and service to provide all-round support for the promotion of the project.

The review stage of the meeting was presided over by Professor Sang Xuefeng. The project leader researcher Yuan Shouqi reported the project overview, overall research progress and phased results. Researcher Li Wei of Jiangsu University reported on the project application demonstration outline and implementation scheme. The review expert group inquired and discussed the feasibility and application of the project scheme, and put forward improvement suggestions on the scheme of each subject. They believed that the engineering design scheme, application demonstration outline and implementation scheme of each subject were generally reasonable and feasible, and the functional indicators could meet the requirements of the subject assignment and implementation scheme. It is unanimously agreed to pass the assessment.

Researcher Yuan Shouqi summarized the project scheme review meeting. He indicated that the project team would modify and improve the project scheme according to the suggestions put forward by the expert group, optimize the management and communication mechanism, concentrate on accelerating the project progress, and ensure that the project would be completed on schedule and with high quality.
