Recently, the 17th China CAE Engineering Analysis Technology Annual Conference & the 3rd Digital Simulation Forum was held in Haikou, Hainan. The 2021 national "Digital Simulation Science and Technology Award" was awarded at the conference, researcher Zhou Ling of the fluid center was honored for winning this award.

It is reported that the China CAE Engineering Analysis Technology Annual Conference, founded in 2005, is a professional interaction activity with the largest scale, influence and technical level in the field of digital simulation technology in China. It is jointly hosted by Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Chinese Society of Aviation, Chinese Plastics Processing Industry Association and Shaanxi National Defense Informatization Association of Science and Technology Industry. The theme of the Annual Conference is "Simulation technology driving digital transformation". More than 1100 representatives from national scientific research institutes, enterprises and universities attended the annual conference.
