Recently, the National Postdoctoral Management Committee Office issued the Notice on the Results of the Selected Projects for the Postdoctoral International Exchange Program in 2018. A Pakistani post-doctoral Tarip Amin Khan, directed by Prof. Zhang Desheng, was successfully approved. And it is also the only selected project of Jiangsu University.

Dr. Tarip Amin Khan respectively received his master's and doctoral degrees from Xi'an Jiaotong University and Zhejiang University. He published 7 SCI and EI search papers and has achieved fruitful academic results. In November 2018, he applied to enter the postdoctoral programme of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics of Jiangsu University for scientific research.

It is reported that the "Postdoctoral International Exchange Program" introduction project is a special support program for the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee to attract outstanding foreign (outside) and doctoral students to come to China (returning to China) for postdoctoral research. The funding period is two years. The National Postdoctoral Management Committee Office subsidizes two hundred thousand yuan per year, and Jiangsu University supports one hundred thousand yuan per year, totaling three hundred thousand yuan per person per year.
