On 17th October, six people including the leading professor Dr. Young-Seok Choi from Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) and professor Dr.Toshiaki Kanemoto from Kyushu University of Technology visited our research center。Jinfeng ZHANG introduced the history and research interests of our research center, and Dr. Young-Seok Choi gave a presentation as “Introduction of Turbomachinery and CFD Laboratory in KITECH”. The two sides exchanged ideas in the aspect of the training for graduate students and international cooperation.

KITECH contributes to growth of manufacturing industry through development, application & commercialization of manufacturing technologies and supports for SMEs, which was established in 1989 as the government-funded R&D institute supporting SMEs. The R&D interests include the “manufacturing-based technologies” to improve the quality of materials and components in key industries, “clean manufacturing systems” to support low-cost, high-quality, energy efficient, eco-friendly production, “industry convergence technology” to innovate existing industries and create new markets through convergence between technologies and industries.
