Few days ago, China Scholarship Council (CSC) announced the results of assessment of ‘International cooperation training project for innovative talents in 2021’.
Organized by the International Department of our university, Prof. Jianping Yuan, director of our center, took charge of the successful declaration of ‘Joint training project of intelligent and efficient fluid machinery equipment and technological innovation talents’, with three years of implementation period. Six doctoral students and three master students would be selected to carry out joint training and scientific research cooperation at Padova University (Italy), Cranfield University (UK) and Kaiserslautern University of technology (Germany) every year. The annual scholarship amount is up to 2.3 million yuan.
The project focuses on the major strategic needs of national deep-sea development, seawater desalination, low-noise ship water jet propulsion and high thrust rocket launch system in the new era, targeting on national high efficiency operation and intellectualization in the field of high-end fluid machinery to enrich industrial resources and top international cooperation and exchange resources to cultivate high-level international talents in the field of fluid machinery and engineering for our country.
The approval of the project is a major breakthrough and landmark achievement of the continuously promoting internationalization strategy of our university, symbolizing a new step in the training of high-level international talents in power engineering and engineering thermophysics.
