From May 21st to 22nd, the work exchange symposium on quality and safety risk monitoring and quality improvement of pump products was successfully held in Zhenjiang, which was sponsored by China Machinery Industry Federation in 2019. The symposium was hosted by Li Yanxia, Director of Quality Department of China Machinery Industry Federation.

At the symposium, Prof. Yuan Jianping introduced the development of Jiangsu University and Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology in recent years, and the achievements in scientific research, personnel training, international cooperation and industry development. Yang Xuetong, Executive Vice President of China Machinery Industry Federation, made a report on "deepening reform, promoting high-quality development." Lang Tao, Deputy Director of the Machinery Industry Drainage and Irrigation Machinery Product Quality Testing Center (Zhenjiang), and Li Mingyu, Director of the National Center for Supervision & Inspection of Drainage Irrigation & Water-saving Equipment Product Quality, respectively reported the national supervision and spot-checking work of pump products in 2017 and 2018. Li Yanxia, Director of the Quality Department of China Machinery Industry Federation, led a heated discussion on product quality and safety risk monitoring, quality inspection and testing alliance of pump products, setting group standards, conducting product certification and other industry quality work. The delegates enthusiastically spoke and actively offered advice and suggestions.
