From July 15th to 20th in2018, 2018 ASME 5th Joint US-European Fluids Engineering Division Summer Meeting was held in Montreal, Canada, which was organized by American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

The conference was an important activity of American Society of Mechanical Engineers in fluid engineering. It aimed to expand international exchanges and cooperation and improve scientific research strength and standards of fluid engineering systems and technologies. More than 500 papers were presented at this conference, covering a wide range of basic research topics and industrial applications in the field of fluid engineering. During the conference, Prof. Zhang Desheng presided over the second branch of the pump and participated in the China-Japan-Korea fluid machinery cooperation conference, which expands the influence of Research Center. The representatives of Jiangsu University conducted on-the-spot reports on their respective researches, and conducted discussions and exchanges with participating experts from various countries. Through this academic exchange, Research Center learns about the frontiers of international research in the field of fluid engineering and broadens thinking for future research.
