On June 30, Prof. Zhang Desheng of National Research Center of Pumps leaded more than 30 teachers to visit Nantong University.

President of Nantong University, Shi Weidong and Dean Ni Hongjun of Mechanical Engineering School showed warm welcome to the representatives and organized the forum. Prof. Shi Weidong firstly introduced the historical origin and current development of Nantong University, and briefly summarized the future development direction and working ideas of Nantong University.

Subsequently, Prof. Zhang Desheng introduced the work ofNational Research Center of Pumpsin terms of talent introduction, scientific research and innovation, and subject development during the past five years. In the future, two sides should strengthen exchanges and learn from each other to achieve win-win cooperation.

The both sides stated that they will focus on promoting cooperation in research and development in the field of fluid machinery in the future, and comprehensively promoting exchanges between two sides in personnel training, scientific research, transformation of results, and service industries.

After the forum, the representatives visited Nantong University Fan Zeng Art Museum and Nantong Museum.
