On June 25, the second meeting of 8th session of China General Machinery Industry Association Pump Sub-Association was officially held at Zhaohe Crowne Plaza Hotel in Zhenjiang.

As the organizer of the conference, after showing warm welcome to the participants, Prof. Yuan Shouqi introduced briefly general situation of Jiangsu University, and showed that Jiangsu University will continue to promote the development and construction of the pump industry.

After the conference, the participants actively participated in the "Entrepreneur into the Campus", and visited the laboratories of National Research Center of Pumps and the sprinkler irrigation hall. Besides these, they also conducted face-to-face communication with students of related majors.

This conference strengthened the communication and exchange between pump enterprises and universities. It provided a cooperation platform for enterprises and universities to achieve complementary advantages, resource sharing, talent cultivation and cooperation. At the same time, it expanded further the influence of the fluid machinery discipline of Jiangsu University.
