On December 8th, the Fluid Center held a faculty and union members meeting in the 7th-floor conference room. The meeting was attended by Zhang Desheng, Secretary of the Center's Party Committee, Yuan Jianping, Director, Zhang Jinfeng, Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director, Pei Ji, Deputy Director, Peng Guangjie, Deputy Director, and all faculty members. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Desheng.

Yuan Jianping presented a comprehensive work report on the activities of the Fluid Center to all faculty members. The report covered major achievements in scientific research, disciplines, graduate education, faculty team construction, internationalization, and party building over the past three years.

Gao Xiongfa, the Chairman of the Fluid Center Labor Union, delivered a report on union work and the utilization of union funds, themed "Striving for excellence, seeking development, consolidating hearts, building harmony." The meeting conducted elections for the new session of the union committee and representatives to attend the School Teachers' Congress and Staff Representatives' Congress.

In the concluding speech, Zhang Desheng highly praised the outstanding achievements of the center over the past three years. On behalf of the Party and Government leadership, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to all faculty and staff for their hard work and unity. He also expressed earnest expectations, urging all teachers to conscientiously implement the spirit of the school's Fifth Party Congress, promote the new breakthrough in the integration of party building and business development in the Fluid Center, and actively contribute to the realization of the "One Fusion, Two Highs" goal, thereby supporting the school's construction as a distinctive and high-level university in the pursuit of "Double First-Class" status.
