On November 9th, the "Internationalization of Graduate Education" thematic presentation session was hosted by the Publicity Department of the University's Party Committee and organized by the Fluid Center, taking place in the seventh-floor conference room of the center. Associate Director of the Fluid Center, Pei Ji, served as the keynote speaker, with representatives of faculty and students in attendance.

Pei Ji provided insights into the internationalization of graduate education from three perspectives: the background, initiatives, and outcomes of internationalization cultivation. He emphasized that the internationalization of graduate education is grounded in the needs of national strategy, industry talent, and the training system. Simultaneously, our university explicitly proposes to "persist in considering internationalization as a strategic choice for the construction of a research-oriented university." The center has long attached importance to international collaborative research, adhering to the philosophy of "gathering global strengths, pioneering innovation, and leading the development of the world pump industry." Through initiatives such as establishing international platforms, formulating graduate education plans in line with international standards, and supporting graduate students' participation in international conferences, the center aims to cultivate a cohort of internationally-oriented, high-level, and multidisciplinary talents. In concluding the presentation, Pei Ji encouraged all graduate students to cherish opportunities, explore innovations, and strive to become international talents with a global perspective, innovative capabilities, and international competitiveness, contributing to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

This lecture broadened students' international perspectives, providing detailed insights into ways to enhance their international capabilities. It also laid the foundation for the Fluid Center to further enhance the internationalization of graduate education.
