On April 11th, the appointment ceremony of Song Jianjun, Vice President of Beijing Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute of China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., as a part-time professor was held in the conference room on the seventh floor of the Fluid Center. Yuan Shouqi, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiangsu University, Yuan Jianping, Director of the Fluid Center, and representatives of teachers and students attended the appointment ceremony, which was presided over by Director Yuan Jianping.
During the appointment ceremony, Secretary Yuan Shouqi presented Professor Song Jianjun with the university emblem and issued the letter of appointment. It is hoped that Professor Song Jianjun will continue to support the construction and development of the Fluid Center and play a greater role in the technological progress of the nuclear power pump industry after serving as a part-time professor at Jiangsu University.
After the appointment ceremony, Professor Song Jianjun gave a special report entitled "Analysis of Key Technical Issues of Main Feedwater Pumps in Nuclear Power Plants". He systematically introduced the process, components, and key equipment of the main feedwater system in nuclear power plants, and analyzed the difficulties and solutions in the commissioning process of the main feedwater pump through examples. Professor Song Jianjun's wonderful lecture aroused great interest among the audience, and teachers and students actively interacted and exchanged ideas with him on site.
Professor Song Jianjun is currently the Vice President of Beijing Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute of China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. He has long been engaged in the design and management of the cooling system of nuclear power plants, and has 8 years of experience in on-site work at nuclear power plants. He has participated in the design and management of the cooling system of Qinshan Nuclear Power Phase II, Qinshan Nuclear Power Phase II Expansion Project, Ling'ao Nuclear Power Station, Ling'ao Nuclear Power Station Phase II, Fuqing Nuclear Power Station, Hunan Xiaomoshan Nuclear Power Plant, Hubei Dafan Nuclear Power Plant, Hunan Taohuajiang Nuclear Power Plant, and Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant. As the chief of the fire protection department, he is responsible for the fire protection design and management of Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant, Fangjia Mountain Nuclear Power Plant, Taohuajiang Nuclear Power Plant, and Hainan Nuclear Power Plant. He has won 7 provincial and ministerial awards.
