On the afternoon of September 20th, the center organized new students to visit the laboratory, in order to help them adapt to scientific research, and cultivate their interests in scientific research. Lang Tao, the leader of the lab, gave students a detailed introduction of the lab.

Firstly, Lang narrated the history of the lab, giving an understanding of its tortuous development, from a none to the leading position. Subsequently, he made an explanation of various testbeds, such 1000mm and 500mm multifunction pumps, both open and closed, submersible electric pumps, and self-sucking pumps. The youngers listened carefully and discussed professional topics with predecessor.

After visiting the new lab, they went to the old one and learned the operating principle and process of extreme pumps testbed, cold shock of nuclear pumps and thermal shock vibration and noise, gas-liquid two-phase and complete equipment of advanced indoor sprinkler. Director Lang reminded students that, safety awareness was extremely significant in experiments.

This event cultivated enthusiasm and enhanced their interests in scientific research. Depending on the superior facilities, may these students have an extraordinary academic career.
